  • To formulate general criteria and indications for the functioning of the Technical Committee;

  • To carry out periodic checks on the results of the Technical Committee's activities.

  • Two are elected to represent General Associated Members belonging to National Associations;
  • Four are elected to represent Associate Members (non composting companies).

The Technical Committee is elected for three years and its members can be re-elected. Its duties include:

  • Managing the relationships with scientific and technological research centres;
  • Promoting and co-ordinating the activity of Working Parties, which are the technical research bodies for specific issues;
  • Collecting up-to-date information relating to the composting sector in its various forms, and putting forward proposals to work towards still higher levels of quality;
